RetroCard Belt Buckle Now Available at Kill Devil Hill in Greenpoint

Kill Devil HillWe’re psyched that the RetroCard Belt Buckle is now available at Kill Devil Hill in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.

The shop’s name refers to Kill Devil Hills, NC, the location of the Wright Brothers’ landmark first airplane flights, and the overall feel is like an old-time general store.

Inside this “road side shop”, you’ll find a mix of items like locally made pickles by Brooklyn Brine,  jams and jellies, hand screened gift cards by Pumpkin & Honeybunny, grooming products for men and women by Hawleywoods, and of course, the RetroCard Belt Buckle.

We couldn’t be happier with a shop that has “only one foot into the future” as that’s how we feel about the belt buckle. It’s blackened steel backplate and hot-rolled steel front plate beautifully riveted into place give you a vintage accessory that holds your MetroCard or other fare card as you pass swiftly to the future through the subway turnstile in NYC or other cities.

Brooklyn Denim Co.

Next time you’re in Williamsburg, check out Brooklyn Denim Co. which now carries the RetroCard Belt Buckle.

Known for their vast array of denim from vintage classics to young designers, Brooklyn Denim Co. has all of your denim needs covered.  We’re psyched to have the buckle in their store because you’ll be able to get your hands on it and see what it looks like with different types of jeans.

With a RetroCard Belt Buckle, you won’t waste time fumbling for your MetroCard at the turnstile, and it will make that new pair of vintage Levi’s look as perfect as old Levi Strauss himself imagined.

We just launched new packaging for the RetroCard Belt Buckle that was designed by Zachary Feltoon.

Every box is individually numbered to represent the limited edition number marked on the actual belt buckle.  Each buckle in this limited edition release is signed by the artist, Patrick Quinn, numbered, and dated.

The TMR logo is foil stamped on the outer slip cover for a metallic look that’s similar to the enclosed buckle.

Now instead of just getting the man who has everything a cool belt buckle, you’ll have a tailor made box to give it in.

Sweet!
